We will be making some changes and upgrades to the Forums sometime in the next week or so.

As this will be a fairly major change to the main forum code, we will need time to get it all done and this will mean that the Forums will need to be closed while it is done. Hopefully that will be for less than a day or so if things all go well, but it may well take more.

(While we are making the changes we won't be able to communicate via the forums and so we plan to set up a "news" page on the site to let you know how things are going).

Before the big update there may be a few times when we need to close the Forums for short periods or make some visible changes to the current Forums as we make preparations.

We're not totally sure yet when the main update is going to happen - it will depend on a number of things - and we will let you know as much as we can in advance.
