This one is interesting. Apparently these guys had a 'safety conference' before the three of them dropped into that 'secure looking' slope all at once.

Yeah, supposedly they had already realized that the snow wasn't stable before dropping in so you'd think they would have tried to practice some form of safe skiing. Amazing how they all drop in at the same time, skiing just a few meters apart from each other. slap
It also looks like they might have been able to avoid the brunt of the avalanche had they not gone straight down the center. They guy on the skier's left was definitely in a better position than the other two.

Really good video, that. Scary. They had the gear and the guy who died had a Master's degree in something avalanche related.
