I just LOVE the feeling of contented tiredness. It's just so mellow.

Two years ago I went to Gifu (Dynaland and Takasu (sp??) and then to Nagano for a week. The whole while I lived in a van and had no official toilet or furo or place to dry my gear. It snowed non-stop. I was exhausted. I furo'd in local sento's. by the end of a week I was sick of snow but very happy all the same. I wish it snowed 12 month's a year. Although I'm from Hawaii I have learned to love (prefer) snow to 20 foot waves. Generally speaking, snowboarders and skiers are a much more friendly of crowd than surfers/body boarders.
I love the exhaustian after a long snowboard trip.....

From what I am hearing it seems that backcountry skiers in North America are getting a little agressive towards outsiders as well.

Just come back from a week in Hokkaido and I'm absolutely knackered. But well satisfied.

Being knackered after doing something really enjoying is just the best feeling. Love it. I'm off out to the hills for 5 days so hopefully I'll be feeling like that at the weekend.
The company is one big pie, and if they’ve let me in charge of that one big pie, then I’ll be in charge of the pie, and the people are the fruit.
