I should probably already know this by my memory sometimes works against me. Does anyone know if there are shuttle buses between Goryu and Echoland at night? Are there any alternatives to taking a taxi after 7-8pm ~ish?
Cheers

That is actually old data. The bus is now only 200yen and you can buy tickets from the driver.

Thanks guys! Really appreciate the info and goes to show why this site is so helpful! Another question that may not be answerable... how much do you think a taxi would be between the two areas?

Of course, if you were gnarly enough, you would hike the mountain side and then find a slide back down to the Echoland area.

Well yes though I would have hoped that a hike deep enough into the mountains might mean there was no need for the swim.

You'd think that the snow would completely cover the river and make it a non-river for 7 months of the year.
