Hello, I'm new to the forum but wanted to share the awesome skiing we had at Myoko these last couple weeks. We were in the area for most of Christmas break, and skied at Seki Onsen, Akakura Kankou, and Suginohara. All three of these resorts were great, but I had the most fun at Seki Onsen as we were able to ski two mornings with 80cm of new snow. We also skied some backcountry around lake Nojiri. All in all it was the best powder skiing I have ever done and I made a short video of the clips we took on our GoPros. Hope you enjoy!

Awesome video! Myoko has long been one of my favourite areas. I'm glad you had a great time there! I was there at the same time... great conditions.

Awesome video.

Been to Myoko twice and loved it. Will get back there again, just too many places to explore, so little time..........

Thanks for the comments! Yes we were very fortunate to have great snow, as we have been there many years at Christmas and found little or no snow.

snowjunky, I used mostly i-movie, but also used final cut pro a little bit.

Nice video! I've been wanting to get over to Myoko for a few years now. How was Suginohara? I just won a ticket there, so I will be going there and maybe Palcall one of these weekends.

Gunma Boarder, Suginohara was pretty nice. There are two natural snow runs off of the top lift and the trees to the skiers left of the skiers left run off the top lift are very nice. The line under the top lift is also very nice.

If you are at Akakura Kankou, the tress on skiers left side of the Hotel A run are nice.
