Not really sure what you mean by quoting me there. You describe a possible scenario, there are many other possible scenarios that could happen too but it is just speculation.

Beer, now there's a temporary solution!

Is there any particular reason why there isn't a national avalanche service (for want of a better term) like you can get in other ski areas?
The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil, is that good Chairmen do nothing

Japan cant even string together 2 lifts on the same hill with the same lift pass.
It would need funding. Im sure the government employs avalanche people but they would be focused on road safety IMO. I doubt they care a lot for people doing bc snow activities

It would be great to have more of that information readily available.

We have actually tried to reach out to try with a view to posting more of that kind of info on SnowJapan, however limited it is - in the same way that we are able to provide the Niseko avalanche reports on our Niseko Now report page each day in season - but without any success.

Regarding links. This thread isn't any different from others, so it's not a link directory. If you really want to post one, contact me and ask me before posting it. Sorry, there are various reasons for this that I have gone over previously. I know that some people get all worked up over that and we have also had that conversation before, but sorry - that's the decision we have made. We are the ones operating the site and also know what goes on offline, not people just using it.

Thanks.

In the same vein as your post, Method:

So you just completely ignored the message that I spent the time to write and send to you explaining? Oh well.

There's really nothing I can say that hasn't been said before, so I'm not going to spend ages explaining myself again in detail.

I deleted your post that was simply to the exactly the same place that was linked to earlier.

Re-read my post and the message I sent. If there is something that you want to link to, I invited people to contact me. If it is such important information, I can't see that taking less than 5 minutes of your time is such a big effort.

Seriously, attitude really doesn't work with us.

If you feel the need to respond, please do so by PM or email, I'm not discussing this here. Thanks.

(This is not specifically directed at you rider69).

If you - anyone - want to request something regarding the way we operate our website, please email us and we will consider it.

Please don't just post it repeatedly here.

Thanks.

Sorry I'm just too busy working on things that will benefit many readers to deal with this - 'this' being deleted from the above - right now.

If you have something to post in this thread, please mail me and I'll consider updating it.

Thanks.
