so this is my first time in one of these super sento onsens.
its perfect for me as i have nowhere to go but what about these other people? im sitting downstairs in the library, reading area and theres lots of single men reading comic books. are they trying to get away from the wife? why not just go home?

Because their wifes are there.
Better they hang out at the library than the pub

Hit Sapporo Teine today. Not much snow but still found bit of powder around.

Randomly found a Super Sento and decided to sleep here for the night.

It has several onsens, a restaurant, hot stones, massage facilities, library, beds, lounges, kids areas.

All for $8.

definitely. there are just little things like the past two nights while sleeping in teine carpark. being a mad car guy, i got all excited when the drifters turned up and drifted up the touge.

You sir are living the dream that a married man with kids like me can only dream of. I just have to wait a few years for the kids to get bigger so I can take them with me on my snow adventures!

At a certain age maybe.

Otherwise, book into some really nice hotel and have nice hot rooms and be served on! Bet most kids would be happier. (So would I!)

Why do people who visit Japan always seem to take photographs of apples?
