A new Setting Journals Feature - "A Day in the Life - Epilogue", has been put online.

"Have you ever started a project with little idea of either how to do it or how it will pan out? Like life, I found this “A Day in The Life” mini-series to be something that had to be put together over time in ever-changing conditions. A year has passed from the start of this project, and almost 18 months from the day that is the subject of this mini-series. Also like life, although the experience raised more questions than it answered, it provided just a touch more perspective. Thus, a further ray of light was shed on resort life at Arai Mountain & Spa."

Well it's interesting to hear about what goes on behind the scenes. I have an idea.... go work for a different resort now and tell us about them.
I am a seething mass of contradictions

Hello xxx
Thanks for the comment, it's the first time I've heard something like it.
In my mind if I was to take up your suggestion, it would take several years to get to the point I'm at now in my present work; That is, from my experience working in Japan to date it takes a long time to first establish yourself and even longer to get colleagues to give you the time of day.
Wow, this is the first time I have posted on the new site - I'm very impressed with the improvements.
