Anyone who goes to Shiga Kogen needs to check those monkeys out

I went there in late July. Fantastic place it is. Well the place itself isn't anything too special, nice as it is, but those monkeys are a lot of fun. We spent over an hour just chilling out with them. Wanted to get in the onsen as well but thought better not.

Are there ever times when people go and there be no monkeys hanging around, or is it pretty much guaranteed that they'll be there monkeying around?

I've never heard of anyone not seeing them. Their food is there and they have good views. Good to stay \:\)
