I got rid of an old computer the other week. I decided that the best way to get rid of the hard drive was to smash it up. I had a great time with a big hammer.

Thats insane! The best deal I have experienced was 2000 yen for 2 hours. But I hate the way parties here have their official finish time - it's usually just when things are getting interesting that the cold damp cloth is thrown over proceedings!

I find exercise before work helps a lot, a 30 min brisk walk or preferably a surf. Bog of crisps is right too. Sometimes just hitting it results in you realising it isnt that bad and Rach's idea is right too.

Cheers for the ideas folkes. Budget is important, but the the most important factor. If something is amazing but pricey i'll go catch a look. The boat over from the north of honshu to hakodate sounds like a good compromise of price and practicality.
