I spotted the opportunity and was lucky with the timing that everything lined up. It was my second visit to Zao. I met up with sunrise last year, but it was very windy with bad visibility. I`m itching to go back, and it looks as if it`s on for the end of the month. I might add that I use a Nikon D40 with the standard 18-55mm zoom. Lugging a honking great DSLR is a pain compared with slipping my old Canon S50 digicam into my pocket, but when you hit the button, it takes the photo. The Canon actually has a better autofocus, but it takes forever, and that means missed shots.
