Morning all. A light northerly with lots of cloud around today. I'm expecting rain.

pissed down cats and dogs overnight but is now just ominously grey and overcast with very low hanging clouds. Lovely and cool.

I woke early and couldn't get back to sleep, so I got up to read the paper and get on with some work.

The only time I ever wake up at that time is when my alarm clock violently shakes me up when I am going back to the UK and have to catch a plane.

My mum says she wakes up around 5am every morning.

I quite like getting up early. It's nice to have time, and I find I can be very productive.
