I went on my own to Canada from the UK. Spent 6 weeks learning to ski. Brilliant times.

That sounds good.
My first time was after uni - 4 of us spent just under 3 weeks in Austria. Spent a ton of cash but it was worth it. Caught the bug.

IIRC (and I could be W W Wrong?...) the Morris - later versions - were manufactured by the British Leyland Motor Corp (BLMC) But the origin was the Morris Motor Company. (wikipedia reference here .

I went with some buddies and they were skiers. Free lessons so thats why I put the skis on!

Until I came to Japan I had never tried skiing, often did skating which I liked, I first tried it about nine years ago in Nagano, loved it and have been hooked ever since.
