There is loads going on, in fact if you get to tower records then u can pick up a free english magazine called Metropolis, they also have a website, that lists everything thats going on. Also tells you the location of some bars, restaurants and what club nights are happening

Warning, drinking vintage single malt in Japan in seriously injurious to your wallet (more so than the UK!)

On the other hand in big off-licenses you can get 10 litre (plastic) bottles of Japanese whisky for remarkably little money.

We found a good bar in roppongi (which was a let down, as predicted) with a tokyoian guy called shingo working there, the place was dead and he was carving some ice balls. He set us up with some really good j-whisky and so other random drinks. This place had some english ales, some whiskys that most scottish bars would be proud to have and some great chat! Holla in shingos grill!
