The Elephant Man was on the tv the other week and I recorded it and watched it last night. Can't believe I hadn't seen that one. Very affecting movie.

I remember having a bit of a thing for Ellen Barkin in Sea of Love when it was released and so I was looking forward to seeing that again last night. Got to say I was a bit disappointed, maybe the 80s fright wig at times, though some nice shapes still. Entertaining movie though, Al Pacino almost always worth a watch.

"Hard Candy" was pretty good made me laugh and cringe.

A Fish Called Wanda, hadn't seen it since it was first released and enjoyed it more than I remembered.

Some Kind of Monster - a Metallica documentary type thing of them going through troubled times recording their most recent noisy album. I'm not particularly into Metallica, but it was an interesting watch.

I also thought "Idiocracy" - (A Mike Judge screenplay) was a excellent commentary on US culture and where it's headed! This is a classic "must-see" film IMO. Funny as hell too! But then if you look at the other stuff Mr. Mike Judge as done you'll know what a time is in store for you! http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0431918/ .

Silence of Sleep was interesting as well as the similar in some ways Eternal Sunshine.
(I have always wanted one of those huge Kenny Everett style hands).

I watched the Green Mile recently and really liked it, slow pace and all. I had tears in my eyes at the end there.

Inland Empire.
David Lynch is truly bonkers. But entertaining.
And watch Mulholland Drive while you're at it.
