lol

It would be funnier still if they did bring in Mr Expensives and they still lingered down there.

Spurs are turning it around right now before our eyes. Amazing the effect that changing the management has had.

Hargreaves out for the season. Not good news. I like him, though his United career had hardly even got going.

Spurs beat us again but Im happy about it. We out of the mickey mouse cup and can concentrate on other things. This season, way things are going in the premiership, I wouldnt mind so much if we went out of the champions league too. then we could really focus on getting the premiership for the first time.

Quote:
Cristiano Ronaldo's agents have confirmed the player is set to have talks over a new deal at Manchester United.

Real Madrid's pursuit of Ronaldo was one of the sagas of last summer, but now he appears keen on pledging his future to United after Sir Alex Ferguson won the battle to keep him.

Ronaldo, who is odds on favourite to be named both World and European Footballer of the Year later this season, appears keen on securing a new deal.

Gestiftute - ran by Jorge Mendes - claim a new deal is in the offing, although talks are yet to take place.

"It is normal, that a footballer wants a deal to go with his status and one that matches his performances on the field," Gestifute told skysports.com.

So, looking for a pay cut then?

As we lost, I have got to agree with bobby12 wink

Would be nice to win 4 or 5 cups, but this is the one that is totally least important.

Out of those I'd have to say our game, but I'm confident.

Come on Liverpool!

Just watching the Bolton Liverpool game now.

Who's the no.2 commentator? Sounds like he is constantly eating a pie or something. (Perhaps he is!)

2 things while watching the United game:

- why do we have to keep on seeing Phil Collins?

- was that a joke about Old Trafford pitch being 4 metres wider than the one at Stoke? (Surely all the same?)

pitches are not all the same, there are minimum and maximum parameters that the pitches fall into but some are wider and longer than others....although I reckon 4 metres would be pushing it

I did not know that. He definitely said 4 metres (though he is an imbecile, see below).

3-0 now.

clap

Berbatov at times shows some sublime ball control skills.

One more point: why is this pathetic United-hater of a 2nd commentator allowed to commentate on this (or any) game? His constant snipes, excuses & idiocic bias are very tiring to listen to.

Highbury used to be a very wide pitch, I think it was the widest in the UK at one point. Ironically at that time arsenal used to use a lot of long throws by either Lee Dixon or Nigel Winterburn.
