I am off on the weekend to my local Japanese Supermarket to buy some Gyoza and with all the advice make my own sauce. I will let you know what I think.
Can you get just Vegetable ones???? watch out. You need pork for a great gyoza. Half lean, chopped, add chives or if that is too pungant, use spring onions and chopped bok choi.

My lady friend makes the most amazing cakes - one that is made with lots of fruit and yogurt. Heavy and sticky it is. Awesome.

Indeed it is (both a fruit cake and a good one). Not had one like this before though, very yogurty, very heavy and sticky. Hmmmmm.

I could do with some of that myself.
This weekend I'm going to be making some trifle. Anyone remember that?

Yummy I love trifle Some one always makes it for Christmas day. Don't forget to put some sherry in it. Also another alternative is to use a jam sponge roll.

Trifle reminds me of tripe. Not quite as nice as trifle!
