Some of those sports titles are awesome. The ps3 and 360 are really showing up the Wii now so much. Gameplay on Wii can be great but it just looks so goddam awful.

See the thing about the wii is that the controls are a pure gimmick - yeah sure its fun for about 30 mins but lets be honest - you come home from work knackered and the last thing you want to do is stand up and prance about trying to play a game.

Definitely. Games like Fifa 09 - will one of the PS3 or 360 versions be better than the other, or pretty much the same?

Pretty much the same scouser now - after EA's attempt at UEFA Champions League and screwing up the online system in regards to card trading - think they have just gone sod it and let it all be the same. Now only if they could do cross compatible online gaming then would be happy! Well also the ps3 has 8 players on screen at the same time! But let's be honest, who can really fit 8 people in their living room at one time?

Very very similar, probably can't tell the difference.
The one big difference if you plan to play online is that PSN is free, whereas Live isn't.

At least the xbox has guaranteed players available - same can't be said for ps3! The amount of dodgy connections I've had with that just doesn't make sense.

I thought it was 6000 or 7000 yen.
What I meant to say was that compared to PSN which is free, it is expensive and many people question how long it will continue to cost to use.
But anyhow, it is a waste if you hardly ever use it!
