mikelowry SJ'er with 25+ posts Registered: Thu Nov 13 2008 Posts: 41 Loc: Perth, Australia	Gday all, Word is this year may be an El Nino year? Anyone out there know how this impacts / has impacted historically on the snow in our beloved Japan?

Wasn't the 2005/06 season the one everyone still talks about?? WOW if that is what happens in El Nino BRING IT ON!!!

I went up to Hokkaido to ski on a three-meters base in December which was awsome but I could have stayed in south-western Japan coz they had at least that much pretty much everywhere. _________________________ But don't listen to me, I live on Shikoku

Today is a balmy 26oC and it is the middle of winter - last week was cold with rain - weekend is windy and cold and then we seem to be back to above normal winter temps. Who cares as long as Japan has BIG DUMPS of snow!!
