Went to Iwakura (again) and had fantastic t-shirt weather spring snow conditions. After taking the bus from Ikebukuro was in the gondola by 11 am.
The snow conditions were great. Just the right amount of slushy, not too sticky. Very few people on the mountain, as expected for a Friday.
About 12 snow began to get more and more sticky, which just meant fewer and fewer turns down the hill and more straight lines, gets the heart racing and adrenaline flowing after it's some what cut up , and would not want to try this when it's busier.

at the top of my last run of the day, timed myself and took 3:37 Min for a 2.8 Km run, not bad for spring conditions

That long course in the last shot was fun going really fast, I liked that.

still had full coverage last Friday, and getting more snow (at least forcasted 30 cms over tomorrow and Weds), so have booked for another Thur and Fri bus trips

yes, that's right. I'm so flexable, with my skis planted tail end in to the snow, I can flex around past the base and take a picture
