Welcome to the SnowJapan Forums - a fun and active community of like-minded (or sometimes not!) winter sports and Japan enthusiasts.

These Forums are generally a very relaxed, fun & friendly place to be. We welcome new members to the Forums, and by creating a new (free) account you will have access to many fun features that are not available if you are viewing the Forums without being logged in.

We do have a number of Guidelines that we ask all members to please keep to. We have put together these simple guidelines after running these forums for over 6 years and we feel that they are for the benefit of the forums and members in general.

We'd just like to point out that a really great community has developed here in recent years and we do our very best not to interfere with what happens on the Forums. It is very rare that we actually delete messages and even rarer when we have had to regretfully take away any posting rights. But if and when we do take any action, it is not a decision taken lightly and we do it for what we feel are good reasons.
