Hi guys

We will be in Moyko for a few weeks from 26 January. I have done quite a bit of reading about Seki Onsen, however I'm unsure as to whether you require avalanche safety gear to there? We would only ever ski in-bounds and in areas accessible from the lifts. Appreciate your help, and apologies if I'm being over cautious!

Seki is a tiny resort. If you are only planning on staying in-bounds there or only skiing the areas that are lift accessible you might be disappointed. If you have the gear you should take it... although most likely totally unnecessary I would never recommend someone not taking their beacons and such.
