We have updated the text introduction to our main Contact form:

Our 'policy' (for want of a better word!) hasn't changed - we just felt the need to adjust the text above the form in an effort to at least try and make things (even) clearer (than they were!)

Unfortunately, we simply cannot reply to all of the emails that people send us asking for details about resorts, hotels, train timetables and a whole range of other specifics.
With the number of people using SnowJapan increasing quite considerably this season in particular, it seems to us that we are just getting more and more of these requests and questions.
It's not that we don't know answers (though sometimes we don't), or we don't want to help. It's just that it would almost be a full time job replying to them - and alas, that is not what we are here for.
Please remember, we're not a travel agency or tour company.
This is what we are.

For the most part the information that we have is up there on the website and we need to spend our time working to add to that general resource that everyone can see. And that is what we will continue to do. Gambarimasu.

We really don't like effectively 'ignoring' people who email us wanting help and of course do not want anyone to waste their time doing it either.... so before contacting us, please read the text on the form and decide if your request is one that we are going to be able to answer. I think it's pretty clear.

If you have a question about SnowJapan or your member account with us, we will of course get back to you promptly. Often very promptly indeed!

Thank you.
